They inform the Lords of Trade that they have discovered and investigated a conspiracy to defame the government, led by Nicholas Bayard. P.2 contains a second letter from 21 January 1702, in which the authors encourage the Lords of Trade to make and example of Nicholas Bayard. Docketed on verso. |
