Additional Information Holabird was District Attorney for the State of Connecticut during the Amistad trial. Boyd served at various Connecticut state political posts. He was Representative in the Connecticut General Assembly, Secretary of the State of Connecticut 1859, 1860 and 1861, and town clerk of Winchester for roughly thirty years.
