Content Description | Discusses a petition members of a committee are presenting to him about grievances in Thomaston, Maine, part of the Waldo patent lands. The petition is being presented by a Mr. Brown and a Mr. Thomas. Discusses meetings of the Court (the General Court of Massachusetts) on the subject. Mentions that Colonel [Benjamin] Hichborn will be representing Knox. Also recommends his brother [likely Samuel Winslow] for an open position with the federal government in the Import Office. |
