Content Description Writes that this afternoon the family is going to the gallery to have their photographs taken. He states that the school is very good as is their principal, Mr. French. He wishes that he could see him or be down there with him so he could "wear the United States uniform." Writes of the festival at Union Hall.

Additional Information Franklin W. Fuller from Howard, Illinois enlisted on 14 August 1862 as a Sergeant. He mustered into the I Company of the Illinois 74th Infantry on 4 September 1862. He was mustered out on 10 June 1865 in Nashville, Tennessee.
