Says "The expressive kindness manifested yesterday, to the remains of our beloved son, by the college under your direction [Princeton], has made a strong and grateful impression on the minds of myself and afflicted companion, for which we pray you, the Gentlemen tutors and Scholars to accept our sincere acknowledgements."
