Content Description Thanks Smith for his letter of 14 June (GLC02437.04994). Says Smith's letter was the first he heard of his son's accident. Is happy he is under Smith's good care. Says "I shall not mention the affair to his mother until he shall write to her [which] I pray you to direct him to do by the post of tomorrow."
