Now encloses the deed of assignment from Henry Jackson and Royal Flint to Henry Knox and William Duer to pay for the Maine lands recently purchased. Notes that the deed is dated 25 July 1791. Would like Walker to acknowledge its receipt. Asks if Madame de la Val has gone to Maine, and if so, when and with whom. |
