Content Description | Writes in references to lands in Peterborough, New Hampshire that his late father-in-law Thomas Flucker purchased from Richard Gredley. Says there has been illegal sales of some of these lands for the non-payment of taxes by squatters. Notes he has employed a Mr. Otis (Harrison Gray Otis) of Boston to help him with this situation. Comments "As soon as the lands shall be entirely disentangled, which will not be a work of much difficulty they will be for sale." Reports that Otis can inform him on how the matter currently stands. |
