Content Description | General Thomas writes from Headquarters, Department of the Cumberland to an unnamed colonel. Requests that the colonel "give the enclosed list of relics to Mrs. Goddard with my compliments and say that I am sorry I can do no better for the Sanitary Commission's Fair now." States that already, many desirable relics have been taken from the battle fields of Chickamauga and Chattanooga, Tennessee. Two bust engravings of Thomas included as collateral. |
