My dear Husband
I send you the small suitcase with your clean linen I think it is better to be on our own when the other palatine there from the villages have been added on and from the Saghers till across from the sand bank at the small hill then it could be a county then we would not need Albany anymore it would be very easy for us and for our people do send a cooking knife our yacht has now gone along the river for wheat our mill does not have anything to mill it is very bad in the villages many have to buy their bread Kruck has been with his sloop from Pakeepsin to Harme Boertjes and gave 4 gu 10 nickels the bushel for at least 800 bushel we will have to give that too if we want to have to mill just now I receive a letter from you and write that Lawes now has everything the way he wants it but I fear they will deceive you and then we will be laughed at and made ridiculous to bend (?) under Lewies with this/to back Lewis with this they are now working on the middle fence with this be commended to the Lord Alida Livinghston
Lewis with his courthouse and prison he now has his way they now will pay no attention to you and you would have to blame yourself see to it that you get out from under there the line is Naetje’s and is too rough if it came your way would like to have some finer in the small suitcase are the commissions in a letter from me
