Content Description Has enclosed a letter from Mr. Thomas Fitsimmons. Asks Knox for a "favorable subscription," a confirmation of Glasbeech's service and monetary relief. Additional Information According to Francis B. Heitman's Historical Register of Officers of the Continental Army During the War of the Revolution, Glasbeech was a volunteer aide-de-camp to General Daniel Morgan, and was brevetted captain in the Continental Army 9 March 1781 due to his meritorious service at the Battle of Cowpens.
