Additional Information Archive Folder information: Allison served in the 15th Pa. Cavalry, "Anderson's Cavalry." Allison's correspondence mentions Murfreesboro (Stones River), Chattanooga, second battle of Dalton (in Georgia against Confederate General Wheeler), Nashville, guerillas, the Presidential election of 1864, and Parson Brownlow. The collection also includes telegraphs, a rare broadside and a cardboard note to his father. Excellent battle and political content.
