Content Description Marked "copy." Notes that the Superior Court of Massachusetts granted the authors, as surviving executors of Brigadier General Samuel Waldo's estate, the power to sell lands of Waldo's to pay his debts. The present deed documents the sale of a land lot to Richard Clarke in exchange for a particular sum of money. Signed on behalf of Francis Waldo, Isaac Winslow, and Thomas Flucker, as well as by Samuel Quincy and Increase Sumner Jr. as witnesses. Below the signatures is a note declaring that Enoch Freeman copied the above on or about 29 April 1786; Enoch Freeman also signs the note. Samuel Freeman, as Clerk, certifies the above as a true copy.
