Content Description | Informs Knox, "The time proposed, when you was at St Georges for giving Deeds to those persons who then agreed for their Lands, is sometime since elapsed..." States that some of the settlers have made considerable payments for the land, and they refuse to pay more until they receive their deeds. Encloses Samuel Watt's deed for land which was formerly part of the Flucker estate. Notes that some persons want to purchase lands, and settlers that are already on the land are desirous "of accommodating their matters." |
