Davis believes he will have to work with Truky "as the receipt...expressly recognizes that he is to have a deed." Davis will insist "upon the whole money in hand, according to the first contract." Davis will remain at Bath awhile longer. He gave "Major Davidson notice, that Miss Knox would be at Bath on the 2d of Jany. before I knew of Mr. Bradfords intention to accompany her to Wiscassett." |
