Province of GEORGE the Third, by the Grace of New-Hampshire. God, of Great-Britain, France and Rockingham ss Ireland, King, Defender of the Faith, & c. To ther Sheriff of the County of Rockingham in our Province of New- Hemisphere, his under Sheriff of Duty, or to either of the Constables [struck] of Brentwood within our said [struck] County Greeting. WHEREAS, Willet Peterson of Kingstown within our Countu of Rockingham aforesaid Trader on the fouth Day of April before Josiah Bartlett Esq; one of our justices of the Peace of our [struck] County aforesaid, recover'd judgement against Samuel Brown of Brentwood in Said County yeoman for the Sum of ten Shillings & ten pence Debt or Damage, and ten Shillings & ten pence for Charge of Suit, as to us appears upon Record, whereof Execution remains to be done: We command you therefore in Money, you cause to be levy'd paid and satidfy'd unto the said Eillet Peterson the aforesaid Sums, being Twenty one Shillings and eight pence in the whole. And also that out of the Money, you levy [struck] two Shillings more for this Writ, togehter with you ownFees: And for want of such Money, Goods or Chattles of the Said Samuel Brown to be by him shewn unto you, or found within your Precinct, to the Acceptance of the said Willet Peterson For satisfying the aforesaid Sum: We command you to take the Body of the said Samuel Brown and him commit commit unto our Goal in the Portsmouth [struck] or exetiv the Keeper thereof accordling to receive the said Samuel Brown into our said Goal, and him safely to keep until he pay the full sums above mentioned, with your Fees, or that he be discharge by the said Willet Peterson the creditor, or otherwise by order of Law Hereof fail not not make Return of this Writ, with your Doings therin, unto our said justice, within Sixty Days next coming.
