Content Description | Discusses Knox's situation with [William] Duer and Madame de Leval over land negotiations. States Duer has given him Knox's obligation to convey to Duer a certain proposition on a township. Asks that Knox informs him when he is ready to make the final conveyance. Also notes Leval's concern over the Committee delaying the meeting regarding her land claims. Says if this happens some of the Germans who Leval has sold land to plan on attending the meeting. Date taken from docket. "Free" stamped on address leaf with no signature. |
