Content Description | Orders to the contractors at Newburgh, New York for six days' provisions for Joseph Manning, a soldier in the Rhode Island regiment who is going to home on furlough. Two dockets on verso. One is signed by Manning stating that the contractors delivered the rations. The second one is signed by Major Samuel Shaw, one of Knox's aides-de-camp. Shaw ordered the commissary to issue the rations. |
