I have received your letter of the 17th but have not got gotten a letter from the Esopus (?) Sopes you write that you have reached an agreement with sister Kortland but not what she wants in return I am sending you the papers you wrote for the sack is filled and mother staet’s book and the book that has been eaten by the mice I am surprised that you have some one else to shuffle your papers need more than another you can think indeed that there are several in the assembly who are against you Peter Mee....is afraid that master Robbert will not be up as he desires I hope you will make it as short as you can for there is much to be done by you here I have sent 4 tonxx flour with our yacht and fine kernel and medium kernel and some skins and I hope it will reach you well to bring some ready money Jeremy Muller is waiting for a negro of 16 or 18 years of age I think that Ghert Schuyler will be there again 195. Ghijsbert is waiting for the yacht to fetch him and then you can bring here molasses and sugar or send it Catherine has a young son with this be commended to the Lord your loving wife Alida Livinghston
