Content Description Addressed to Boudinot as Commissary General of Prisoners. Requests to be exchanged as a prisoner of war because he was wounded at Fort Montgomery and is not well. He asks to be paroled or exchanged to go to Dutchess County so he may heal. He informs Boudinot that his rank is Second Lieutenant in Captain James Stewart's company, Colonel Lewis Du Bois's Regiment, fifth regiment of the state of New York.
