Content Description Details the Lovett family accounts, the bulk of which span the years 1775-1776. Most are lists of sundry goods brought to Lovett by ship and their costs. Mentions the names of many ships, their sailing dates, and their captains. Inscribed, "John Lovet his book Elizabeth Lovet" on inside cover. John Lovett signed his name repeatedly and doodled all over the front and back covers. Lovett was a privateer ship merchant and captain in Beverly, Massachusetts.
