Title A list of insurgents
Date 10 September 1801
Author Knox, Henry (1750-1806)
Document Type Legal document
Content Description Document is not signed but appears to be in Henry Knox's handwriting. A list of names of the insurgents. Relays a conversation between James [Cates] and William Whitney (who is one of the names listed as an insurgent). Appears Whitney was trying to find out the whereabouts of the surveyors from Cates who refused to tell him. On the last page there is also a list of names of the residents of Jackson, Maine. Docket suggests letter is written to Joseph Jones. Date was written at a later date in pen.
